Thermal Control

The thermal control subsystem is responsible for maintaining the temperatures of each component on the spacecraft to stay within their allowable limits. It maintains these temperatures by using a combination of heaters, radiators, louvers, blankets and thermal paint.

The thermal control subsystem weighs 20.3 kilograms (44.8 pounds).
